Mahjong Shanghai

Enjoy Mahjong Shanghai Dynasty, a classic mahjong game in which you eliminate pairs of identical tiles from a shape carefully laid out on the game area. You can only select tiles with at least one free side on their left and/or right. Additionally, pieces with tiles on top of them cannot be chosen. If you feel that the images are difficult to tell apart, you can use the numbers and letters in the top-right corners of the tiles to identify them. This Mahjong game does not have a time limit.

Mahjong Shanghai is a relaxing puzzle game with traditional mahjong tiles. The tiles are arranged in the classic ‘Turtle’ layout. Pair together two identical tiles in this addicting brainteaser for all ages.

How to play Mahjong Shanghai?

All you have to do to win is connect all pairs of identical mahjong tiles. In the main menu, you’ll get to choose between the easier mode “for kids” and a harder mode: Shanghai. The difference between the two is the number of tiles and the pairs you have to make to finish the round.

Click on two identical tiles to connect them, making them disappear. This will reveal the tiles underneath, so that you create more connections.

Be careful! You cannot play every tile that is visible. Playable tiles must be free on either the left or the right side. Otherwise, you won’t be able to select them to make a pair! Free up space by creating more connections, and keep going until you have cleared the whole board.
